Beach St - Huskisson - Footpath (near Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach)

The Shoalhaven was declared a Natural Disaster Area 5 March 2022 after an East Coast Low and subsequent rain events. The shared user path in Beach Street, Huskisson (near Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach) was severely damaged which has compromised the concrete shared user path. Council considers this damage a high priority and is planning repairs as soon as possible via Natural Disaster Funding.

04/12/2023 - The works are now complete.

About the works

  • 15/11/2023 - Rectification works on the shared user path have commenced and are anticipated to be completed by 24 November, weather permitting.
  • 18/10/2023 - Council will undertake rectification works week commencing 30 October, weather permitting. Works are expected to take approximately three weeks.
  • 05/10/2023 - Design and environmental approvals are nearing completion with works expected to commence in late October 2023, weather permitting.
  • 10/08/2023 - The last update for this project is still current.  Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
  • 20/07/2023 - Council is hoping to issue a tender to market in mid August 2023 with work commencing in October, weather permitting.
