Council is experiencing delays in assessment timeframes. The Assessment Team are working through applications at full capacity and request patience with our staff during this time.
Our goal is to protect and enhance our natural and developed environment and to preserve our quality of life for future generations. We do this by using appropriate development and planning controls.
Council's pre-lodgement requirements for development applications can be viewed using the DA Matrix, or you can look at the Do I need approval? page for the type of development you want to undertake.
From 1 January 2021, we require lodgement of all Development Applications (DAs) and Complying Development Certificates (CDCs) to be via the NSW Planning Portal. A complete list of applications for certifications that can now only be lodged with the NSW Planning Portal is available on our Development Application Forms page. This change is in line with the NSW Government's plan for all Councils to participate in their ePlanning platform for application lodgement.
