Anson Street & Loralyn Avenue - Sanctuary Point - Pavement Damage

The Shoalhaven was declared a Natural Disaster Area 5 March 2022 after an East Coast Low and subsequent rain events. This had a major impact on our communities, causing rapid deterioration to pavements and roads. Anson Street, Sanctuary Point was severely impacted resulting in planned repair works between Loralyn Avenue and Kerry Street.

09/05/2024 - The last update for this project is still current. Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

15/02/2024 - Council has received funding approval to repair a section of pavement between Loralyn Ave and Kerry Street. Tender documents are currently being prepared.

2023 Works history

  • 19/10/2023 - Council has submitted the scope of work to Transport for NSW and is awaiting funding approval.
  • 19/09/2023 - Council is finalising the scope of work for submission to Transport for NSW for funding approval. Scope of work is expected to be finalised in October.
  • 07/06/2023 - Council has requested approval to undertake geotechnical investigations in order to guide pavement repairs.
  • 30/05/2023 - Council is awaiting determination from TfNSW of the funding approval for pavement rectification works to Anson Street, between Kerry Street and Loralyn Avenue.  Please drive to conditions.
