Cancel a direct debit

If you no longer need your direct debit arrangement, you can request to cancel it online. You may need to cancel your direct debit if:

  • you've sold your property
  • you've moved out of the property
  • you no longer wish to make payments by direct debit
  • you want to use a different payment method.

If there's still money owing on your account, you'll need to arrange an alternative payment method to avoid missed payments.

Please note: A separate request is required for each rates, water or debtor account.
