Kerry Street - Sanctuary Point - Pavement Damage

Council has received approval from TfNSW to undertake pavement remediation works on Kerry Street, Sanctuary Point, between Clifton Street and the childcare centre.

25/08/2023 - Pavement remediation is now complete. Council appreciates residents' patience during the works.

About the works

2023 Works

  • 14/08/2023 - Pavement repair works have been delayed due to wet weather. The bitumen seal will now be placed 24 August 2023, weather permitting.
  • 20/07/2023 - Further pavement repair work will commence 24 July 2023 with bitumen seal being placed 4 August 2023, weather permitting.
  • 03/07/2023 - Subsoil drainage has been installed on either side of the road and completion is now scheduled for late July 2023, weather permitting.
  • 15/06/2023 - During pavement remediation, Council encountered very soft and saturated clay (subgrade) material, resulting in subsoil drainage being installed on either side of the road. As a result of these additional works, completion is now scheduled for early July 2023.
  • 07/06/2023 - Works are currently underway with an expected completion date of 16 June 2023, weather permitting. During this time, the road will be closed during daylight hours with resident access only and a detour in place.

  • 24/05/2023 - Work is planned to commence 5 June 2023 with an expected completion date of 16 June 2023, weather permitting.  During this time, the road will be closed during daylight hours with resident access only and a detour in place.
  • 12/05/2023 - Work is planned to commence end of May 2023 with an expected completion date of mid June 2023, weather permitting.  During this time, the road will be closed during daylight hours with resident access only and a detour in place.
  • 01/05/2023 - Work is planned to commence in mid May 2023 with an expected due date of end May 2023, weather permitting.
