Road closures
See below for site map of the temporary closures:
Progress since mid-December setbacks
In mid-December storm events damaged the access road, cutting off access to the project site, creating setbacks to the project schedule.
Since repairing the road and re-gaining access to the project site, Council is happy to report significant progress has been made on Stage 1.
Our contractors are diligently working to complete the following works:
- Upgraded the road providing easier access from the top carpark down to the picnic area. (See Photo 1)
- Expanded the existing carpark and created a designated trailer parking area. (See Photo 2)
- Shaped the picnic area to offer an improved view of the dam. (See Photo 3)
- Installation of new stormwater drainage. (See Photo 4)
