Vote early: Postal Voting Applications Now Open

Applications for postal voting for the 2021 Local Government Elections are now being accepted by the NSW Electoral Commission.  

Voters are now able to apply for a postal vote online or by downloading an Application Form from the Elections NSW Website and returning it to them in the post. The NSW Electoral Commission recommends submitting an application as early as possible so that they can send you voting material before election day. 

Applications for postal voting must be submitted to the NSW Electoral Commission prior to Monday 29 November 2021.  

You must apply for a postal vote for each election unless you have registered as a general postal voter. General postal voters do not need to apply for a postal vote as they will be sent ballot papers automatically.
