Lake Conjola Boardwalk open to the public

Shoalhaven City Council has opened the Lake Conjola Boardwalk providing residents and visitors with a new raised bushwalk.

Mayor, Amanda Findley, is encouraging residents to visit the new walk and see it for themselves.

“The budget of $700,000 allowed improvements to the original structure that had been in place since the 1970’s.”

“Constructed from fibre reinforced plastic this a great example of Council building infrastructure that last much longer than the previous wooden structures.”

“The gentle 400 metres walk now features a ramp so that visitors of all abilities can enjoy this scenic spot.

“The new fibre reinforced plastic is a great example of innovation being used to enhance our beautiful beach access points for the whole community.”

“The community at Conjola now have a wonderful beach access and protects the native vegetation.”
