Seniors are an important part of our Shoalhaven community and we work to improve the quality of life for our seniors by providing access to services and support networks and encourage them to remain active.
In 2021 the NSW Youth Week is from 16 to 24 April and the NSW Seniors Festival is from 13 to 24 April. This presents a unique opportunity to offer a range of intergenerational and interest-based activities that bring our community together in new ways.
For information visit the Youth and Seniors Festival 2021 page.
The Inclusion & Access Advisory group identifies the needs of the different disability groups in the Local Government area.
It also works to increase public awareness of access barriers and the extent to which they disadvantage people with disabilities, the aged and parents with children etc.

Shoalhaven City Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land in which we live and work and their continuing cultural connections to land and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging for they hold the memories, culture, traditions and hopes of the future.
