08/09/2026 - The single lane temporary diversion road around the site will be in place from this afternoon (8/9/23). Due to site constraints the alignment does contain a bend. Lighting towers will be provided to light the diversion road at night. Please reduce speed and drive with care. A 20km/h speed limit will be in place.
31/08/2026 - Repair works commenced today. A temporary single-lane side access road is being constructed to allow traffic to pass the site while the works are underway.
24/08/2026 - Council’s contractor is scheduled to establish the site during the week commencing 31 August 2026. A temporary single-lane side access road will be constructed to allow traffic to pass the site while the works are underway.
14/08/2026 - Council’s contractor is scheduled to establish the site during the week commencing 24 August 2026. A temporary single-lane side access road will be constructed to allow traffic to pass the site while the works are underway.
06/03/2026 - Culvert replacement works on Wattamolla Rd adjacent to property no. 500. are commencing 16 March 2026 and are expected to take 6-8 weeks weather permitting. A temporary single lane gravel side road will be constructed to facilitate public vehicle access, as the road will need to be closed at the site due to the width and the work required. Traffic lights will be in place.
3/3/2026 - Works are scheduled to commence 16/03/2026, weather permitting. VMS will be installed shortly to advise motorists of upcoming changed traffic conditions.
19/01/2026 - Council has engaged a civil contractor (Brown Environmental Earthworks Planning Pty Ltd) to carry out the culvert replacement works. Early preparation is underway, and works are currently scheduled to commence late February 2026.
VMS boards will be installed prior to the works to inform motorists and the community. Works are expected to take 8 weeks to complete weather permitting.
