The 2025/26 Reseal Program is underway, focusing on improving roads across the Shoalhaven. The repair targets roads requiring surface renewal to maintain driving conditions. 07/05/2025 - All reseals are complete for the FY25/26 program. Some post-seal sweeping of loose aggregate and subsequent pavement line marking are still to be completed.

Project History

Completed Works

15/04/26 – Shoalhaven City Council’s FY26 Reseal Program is nearing completion, with works scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2026.

04/03/2026 - As part of Council’s reseal program, asphalt patching works are scheduled to occur on Kangaroo Valley Road. These works are planned for the night of Sunday, 15 March, and—weather permitting—are expected to be completed in a single shift. The approximate work area and proposed detour are shown on this page for indicative purposes only.

28/11/2025 - Spray seal pavement surfacing will commence on Monday, 1 December on:

- Borrowdale Close, Berryborrowdale cl.png      

- River Road, Shoalhaven Heads

Traffic will be maintained and managed via stop/slow traffic control during working hours. Please allow extra travel time

23/10/2025 - Preparation works have commenced on several northern roads included in the reseal schedule. These early-stage activities involve surface cleaning and patching to ensure readiness for sealing operations. Sealing operations are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks, weather permitting. Updates will be provided as works progress across the designated areas.
