06/05/2026 – Geotechnical investigations and design are currently ongoing for the rectification of the landslip area. In addition, Council has engaged another consultant to complete the detailed design for the stormwater outlet, aimed at improving stormwater flow over the cliff.
16/02/2026 – Council has engaged a design consultant to complete the detailed design for the stormwater outlet to improve stormwater flow over the cliff, which is currently experiencing erosion and has been further affected by recent high‑flow rainfall events.
22/12/2025 – Council has completed a risk assessment at the eastern end of Parson Street. For safety reasons, the cul-de-sac has been closed to all pedestrian and vehicle access.
