Construction of a 2.0m wide footpath along the eastern side of Murramarang Rd. The proposed path will extend the existing footpath (which currently terminates at the O'Brien St intersection in Kioloa) for 1.1km until the Shelly Beach access carpark.
18/08/2025 - Construction has been moving along despite the recent wet weather events. Approximately 460 lm of concrete path has been poured. The project is approximately 40% complete.

Section 3 - Shelly Beach Access Carpark to O’Brien St Intersection
Council has gained NSW Government funding to complete this section of path as part of the election commitment to support active transport in the Shoalhaven region.
Construction is in progress and expected to be complete by September 2025.
