Foreshore protection works will be undertaken by Council along the Lake Conjola foreshore from mid-2026. The works aim to combat erosion, restore threatened habitats, enhance water quality, and ensure safe access. Access may be limited during works.
Council is planning to restore a section of eroded foreshore at Lake Conjola Holiday Haven and the adjacent foreshore reserve.
The site is located on the southern foreshore of Lake Conjola, approximately 500m in length and runs the length of the caravan park and carpark of Conjola Beach Boat Ramp.
This site is listed as a priority in the final draft of the Lake Conjola Coastal Management Program (CMP), which has been adopted and is pending certification.
