Funding has been approved in the 24-25 DPOP to design a replacement of the failed jetty with a robust and resilient modern equivalent.

About the project

An Inspection of the jetty in November 2022 revealed that the structure was unsound and required extensive works or total replacement.

Funding for the jetty renewal has been sought through Council's Capital Works Program.
