Three for Free! Garden Waste Disposal Vouchers

Shoalhaven City Council is pleased to announce that ratepayers will soon be receiving three Garden Waste Disposal Vouchers direct to their letterbox. These vouchers are additional to the annual Household Waste Disposal Vouchers.

Following the unprecedented bushfire season combined with floods in some areas, Council aims to give ratepayers the opportunity to manage fire load on their properties by offering additional free garden green waste disposal.

Council also appreciates that due to COVID-19 related interruptions to our Waste Services area, there has been reduced opportunities to dispose of accumulated garden waste.

Each Garden Waste Disposal Voucher is valid until the 31st of July 2021 and can be redeemed at any of Council’s Recycling and Waste Depots. Social distancing measures continue to apply, and staff appreciate customer patience as the distancing measures may result in delays onsite. 

The vouchers can also be used for booking Council’s convenient on-call collection service.

All Shoalhaven ratepayers should receive their Garden Waste Disposal Voucher by mail before the end of June.
