The Nowra Showground Pavilion has undergone a stunning transformation thanks to the recent completion of a refurbishment project.

The project, funded through Council’s Capital Budget, encompassed a range of enhancements to rejuvenate this iconic structure, setting the stage for the upcoming 150th Nowra Show on 9 and 10 February.

"The Nowra Showground Pavilion holds a special place in the hearts of the community, and we are thrilled to unveil the results of this transformative work,” said Mayor Amanda Findley.

“Collaboration with the Nowra Show Society has been instrumental in preserving the heritage and authenticity of the pavilion, ensuring it remains a symbol of community pride for years to come,” Cr Findley said.

The project included external painting of the pavilion, adjacent committee rooms, and retaining walls. Additionally, restoration works were carried out in the carpentry domain, breathing new life into the building's historic charm.

The project also featured upgrades to the lighting system, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the pavilion.
