Shoalhaven City Council offers a wide range of traineeships, trade apprenticeships and cadetships that are advertised on our Council Vacancies page and HVTC Shoalhaven.
Traineeships, apprenticeships and cadetships are paid entry level workplace training and qualifications. They are a combination of ‘on-the-job’ training and ‘off-the-job’ formal training e.g. TAFE or University.
We have an ongoing commitment to training and employing young people and others in the local area.
Usually one (1) to two (2) years training
Usually four (4) years training
Make sure you know how to apply for a traineeship, apprenticeship or cadetship with us, go to our How to Apply page.
Once you have submitted your application successfully and are an applicant selected for an interview, you will receive an email inviting you to select a time online.
After you have your interview time, go to Our Selection Process page and find out how to prepare and what to expect in the interview process. This is important.
You will be notified by email if you are not selected for an interview this time around. We encourage you to keep applying.
