Boongaree is a popular destination parkland for local residents and visitors.
The parkland has been designed and delivered by Shoalhaven City Council with extensive input from the community. The Rotary Club of Berry were key project stakeholders and provided support in securing funding for elements of the project.
Works completed to date include the ‘Rotary Nature Play Park’, car parking spaces, public amenities with a lift and change facility, a learn-to-ride track, pump track, skate park, netball courts, and cricket nets.
Future stages will include additional car parking spaces, upgrades to sporting fields, a reconciliation garden, and a dog off-leash exercise area.
