November 2023 Update - Sufficient budget is not available to allow award of the contract. The project is being deferred.

About the project

The current informal launching area at the end of Short St was put forward by the Tabourie Lake Ratepayers and Residents Association (TLRRA) for formalisation to provide a safe and easy access to the Tabourie creek waterway.

The proposed solution involves 1.2m wide steps and a 1.5m wide ramp from the foreshore down to the water’s edge – servicing the majority of high and low water levels experienced at the site.

The issued for construction plans can be viewed via the link in related documents section on the right-hand side of this page.
