Council invites community input on Greenwell Point Public Amenities

Shoalhaven City Council is proposing to construct public amenities in Greenwell Point's Titania Park following an assessment of the needs of residents and visitors for amenities to be provided at the popular waterside location.
Council is seeking community input to determine the preferred location of amenities from two potential sites identified in the draft plans.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said the local community have advocated for amenities to be provided at this family friendly fishing village with its great seafood, fishing, boating and world-famous oysters.
"After assessing the needs of residents and visitors, Council has determined to provide amenities at the site, near the roundabout and boat parking, north of the Main Wharf," Clr Findley said.
"The wharf area is much-loved for its squadron of pelicans and safe boating locations and the conditions are often perfect to fly a kite," said Clr Findley.
Titania Park is located in Greenwell Point adjacent to the Crookhaven River.
The installation of public amenities at Titania Park is part of a broader strategic plan for amenities in the Shoalhaven.
Feedback on the proposed amenities is available until Thursday 4 March via Council's Get Involved page.
