• Stage 1 - Shared User Path, Sanctuary Point Road – Completed and open to the public.
• Stage 2 - Basin Walk. This project was completed in February 2022 however shortly after practical completion the walk was subject to the two major storm events in March and July. An insurance claim was received for the missing sections of boardwalk and the rectifying works have been completed. Future grant funding is being sought 

GC CivilContractingPty Ltd has been awarded Stage 1 works which include works on the northern side of the canal including:

• Carpark, including 2 accessible car spaces off The Park Drive
• 393m of 2m wide accessible boardwalk
• 420m of 1.2m boardwalk from Larmer Avenue
• Viewing Platform at the junction of the canal and Cockrow Creek
• Seats
• Interpretive signage

Construction has commenced and is expected to be open to the public by mid-December 2023.

North Headland – ‘One Track for All’

• remediation of the track has been completed and is open to the public
• the paths have been rehabilitated and resurfaced with asphaltic concrete
• drainage and shaping of the path has also occurred providing longevity to this wonderful asset on the headland
• the paths are suited to wheelchair assisted users and mobility scooters (see images below)

South

• The contract for the Coomee Nulunga Cultural Walk (Light House Oval to Bommie Carpark) has been awarded to the company Sustainable Infrastructure Systems (SIS)
• Works will include the construction of boardwalks and improvements to viewing areas and signage, and the installation of the Bunaan Sculpture commissioned by the Ulladulla Local Aboriginal Land Council (ULALC)
• The walking track from Bommie Carpark to Warden head has been cleared and some minor improvements will be undertaken.

The new Murramarang Coastal Walk is a multi-day walking track that traverses some of the Australia's most stunning coastlines within existing National Parks and Wildlife Service areas.

The aim of the tourism project was to extend this walk from Bawley Point to Narrawallee on Council owned and managed parcels of land. However, the Murramarang Walk by NPWS now starts/commences from Pretty Beach.

This project will be titled ‘Southern Headlands Walk’ from Narrawallee Headland to Blackburn Headland and will traverse and incorporate existing walks along the route. The walk will be extended to Bawley Point pending future funding opportunities.

Scope of planned works include:

• Range of directional and interpretative signage, bollards and identification plaques
• Track upgrades on northern section of Blackburn Head has been completed
