These works compliment the previous works completed in 2020 for the upgrade of the fishing platform. The new works include the replacement of aging timber decking, handrails with Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) mesh decking and recycled plastic handrails for durability and sustainability. These improvements are aimed at providing safe and sound access to all visitors.
Works are scheduled to commence 13 March 2023. It is anticipated that works will take approximately 4 weeks.
11/04/2023 - The majority of the construction works have been completed. In the next few days wheelchair stops will be installed and timbers/handrails will be trimmed. The Jetty is now open to the public.
