Shoalhaven Disability Expo returns for its 8th year! Join over 60 service providers and community groups for the biggest FREE annual event for people with disabilities, their families, carers and friends.

Where: Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, Bomaderry
When: Wednesday, 28 September
Time: 10am to 1pm
Cost: FREE

Lineup

Event organisers are excited to announce an awesome lineup of local talent who will be performing live music and dance, preceded by the launch and Q&A Session with local Paralympians; Jasmine Greenwood and Jonathan Goerlach. Shoalhaven Disability Expo presents a great opportunity for you to meet and be inspired by both Jonathan and Jasmine.

As part of the event lineup Shoalhaven City Council’s Mayor Amanda Findley will launch the Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2022-2026 which builds on Council’s achievements to improve inclusion for people with disability.

The Mayor will also launch a short film about lived experience ambassadors telling their stories of inclusion and experiences of living with a disability in the Shoalhaven, including clips of many participants from last year's Disability Expo.  The ‘I feel included when’ short film promises to pull on the heart strings and is a great awareness initiative to share with the community.

Following this the lineup is full of local creative arts talent including performances by Holly Menzies, Beyond Dance, X Force – Shoalhaven Cheer Academy, Mick on Wheels, and a Jiggle & Giggle workshop.

Free Event - All welcome

The Expo is fully accessible and COVID safe.

This event is free and no tickets are needed to attend so come along to engage with service providers, participate in fun activities and enjoy entertainment throughout the day.  All welcome!
