Shoalhaven City Council wishes to advise that a person identified from the Northern Beaches local government area attended Ulladulla Leisure Centre at approximately 4.00pm on Monday 21 December 2020.

Council staff identified a casual patron as having residence in the Northern Beaches local government area (LGA) and confirmed that the person had been in the LGA between Thursday 10 December 2020 at 12.01am and Saturday 19 December 2020 at 5.02pm.

Council staff immediately advised the patron they were breaching the NSW Public Health (COVID-19 Northern Beaches) Order 2020.

The Public Health Order requires any residents of the Northern Beaches local government area who left the area on or since Thursday 10 December 2020 must comply with the same restrictions that apply to the Northern Beaches, regardless of their current location.

Council staff directed the patron to leave the Council-premise immediately.

Council reported the breach to NSW Police and sought advice from NSW Health.

As a precautionary measure, Council will close the Ulladulla Leisure Centre whilst the NSW Police are investigating the breach.

Further updates will be provided pending advice provided to Council.
