Temporary Closure

Due to ongoing and forecast wet weather, Artie Smith Oval is temporarily closed to prevent damage to the playing surface. Council staff will re-inspect the facility on Friday morning, 4 July 2025, and provide an update to all regular users. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Artie Smith Oval is a premier sporting facility that has been designed to not only accommodate community sports clubs, but to also attract major sporting, entertainment and cultural events to the Shoalhaven.

Please note: Sports clubs or groups are responsible for determining the suitability of a sportsground for play/training and for advising their members of any sportsground closures.
