On Tuesday night Shoalhaven City Council adopted the future priorities, goals and actions for the next four years.
Mayor Findley said “Council has listened to over 3000 comments and submissions that we received as part of the community consultation process for our Integrated Strategic Plan.”
“It was clear that roads, the environment and infrastructure were a key focus for the community.”
“Responsible management of Council resources, transparency and community engagement were also important. “
“We were really pleased with the significant amount of feedback Council received and we thank everyone who provide Council with comments or attended meetings or workshops”
“Council used the feedback to develop our future priorities, actions and goals for the next four years. The community has directly influenced where Council is heading and what we are focusing on”
From the engagement, the top four most important priorities for the community were:
Continually improving our road and transport infrastructure
