New Lift & Change Facility at Ulladulla Leisure Centre

Shoalhaven City Council’s Mayor Amanda Findley has officially opened the Ulladulla Leisure Centre’s new lift and change facility, the opening was also attended by Councillor Mark Kitchner. The new facility ensures access for individuals of all abilities who wish to utilise the centre.  

Shoalhaven City Council is committed to improving access to facilities across the Shoalhaven, and ensuring an inclusive environment is created for everyone within the community. Mayor Amanda Findley notes what a great asset this upgrade is to the Ulladulla Community.  

“It is important that our entire community has an opportunity to utilise our facilities and participate in our leisure centre’s programs. This new lift and change room facility now provides greater access for all abilities to enjoy what the Ulladulla Leisure Centre has to offer.” Clr Findley said.  

“Shoalhaven City Council funded the upgrade with consultation from the Inclusion Access and Advisory Committee, a committee that work hard to ensure these types of facilities are installed throughout the Shoalhaven.  

“Council is committed to improving access to facilities across the Shoalhaven in adherence with our Disability Inclusion Action Plan” Clr Findley said.  

Shoalhaven Swim, Sport and Fitness Centre’s have a range of accessible features to cater for patrons of all abilities from; pool access ramps, hydraulic lifts, therapy pools, aquatic wheelchairs, disabled parking and lifting change facilities.
