Shoalhaven City Council has been notified of a data breach of the ‘OracleCMS’ which the Council uses as its after-hours phone call service provider.
Council is experiencing delays in assessment timeframes. The Assessment Team are working through applications at full capacity and request patience with our staff during this time.
In April 2020 Council received grant funding of $5.3 Million under the NSW Government’s Restart NSW Infrastructure Grant.Coomee Nulunga Cultural Walk and Warden Head Trails is one of the seven projects identified in the Shoalhaven Sustainable Tourism Grant.
Delays to the delivery of the materials for the boardwalk and subsequent contractual issues has caused considerable delays to this project. The track will be open to the public until construction commences in Mid-May 2024.
The upgrade of the Coomee Nulunga Cultural Walk (Light House Oval to Bommie Carpark) will be undertaken in conjunction with the Ulladulla Local Aboriginal Land Council (ULALC) and will support Indigenous tourism opportunities incorporating the local Aboriginal community’s guided tours. Works will include the construction of 500m x 1.2m wide of boardwalk, improvements to viewing areas and interpretative signage. The installation of the Bunaan Sculpture commissioned by the Ulladulla Local Aboriginal Land Council (ULALC) will be installed at the western entrance opposite Lighthouse Oval.
21/11/2023 - Site establishment has commenced. Contractor will be installing the footings for the boardwalk week commencing 28th November 2023. The track will be closed until works have been completed.
