Shoalhaven Growth Management Strategy 2019-2041

Freedom of Entry Parade Nowra this Friday

Statement: Car Parking Waiver
On 30 October 2018, Council adopted a new policy position to waive the requirement for an applicant to supply additional car parking required by a change of use development in traditional retail centres.  This also means that in certain centres developer contributions for car parking projects will not be charged.  The policy aims to facilitate greater retail and employment opportunities across Shoalhaven and is in place for a 2-year trial period.    For further ...

Given the recent debate around this issue, Shoalhaven City Council is reminding residents and visitors that Lake Conjola is an ICOLL - an Intermittently Closed and Open Lake or Lagoon, and there are a range of important considerations given this designation. Annual Community Survey Results
The annual community survey results are in. The annual phone survey, conducted by IRIS, uses a random sample of Shoalhaven's demographic makeup, to seek feedback on Council’s performance. The survey also assesses the community's overall well-being and feelings about their life and environment in general.
