Shoalhaven City Council is calling for comment on the draft Temporary Storage (shipping) Container on Public Land Policy, with the document going on public exhibition from Wednesday 29 October. The Policy will guide the use and installation of shipping containers for storage, on Council owned Community Land, or Council managed Crown Land areas. Shoalhaven City Council last week officially opened the new Clifton Park Learn to Ride Facility at Sanctuary Point. This Learn to Ride facility has been designed to assist in teaching school children to ride safely on the area’s roads and increase the fitness and health of local children in a fun and safe environment. Community groups in the Shoalhaven are preparing for a major financial windfall with  $259,000 in funding set to be donated as part of the 2014 ClubsGRANTS Scheme.
