Shoalhaven City Council is currently undertaking road stencilling works to improve safety and aesthetics within the Nowra CBD.
The stencilling works are being undertaken at both the Junction/Berry Street and Junction/Kinghorne Street intersections.
These works follow the replacement of the pre-existing pavers with asphalt at both intersections.

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Joanna Gash has welcomed today’s announcement that has seen the area receive over $10 million in funding through Round Two of the Australian Government’s National Stronger Regions Fund.
Member for Gilmore, Ann Sudmalis today announced that both Motorcycling NSW and MIND The GaP (Mental Illness Nowra District – Goals and Prevention) had been successful in their funding applications.

Shoalhaven City Council is calling on the local community to help the organisation in naming the two brand new waterslides at the Nowra Aquatic Park.
Council has constructed the two new high quality waterslides as part of the upgrades to the Nowra Aquatic Park.
Mayor, Joanna Gash said that the slides were due to be opened to the public prior to Christmas.
The Mayor said the winning entry would receive free water slides for a year at the Nowra Aquatic Park.

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Joanna Gash has today officially opened Stage II of Jelly Bean Park during a special Beach Barbecue in the CBD.
