Shoalhaven City Council launches updated website
July 11, 2011
Shoalhaven City Council recently launched a new refurbished website featuring over 3,000 documents and 500 functional pages of information.
The upgraded website features a new modern look and easier to navigate style allowing local residents far greater access to a wide range of Council information.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Paul Green is encouraging residents to get online and have a look around the new site saying Council’s homepage was redeveloped with the needs of the community in mind.
“A lot of work has gone into the redevelopment of Council’s website and I’m very impressed with both the look and amount of information this new site provides,” said Clr Green.
“Council’s homepage now provides residents with a flexible one stop shop enabling locals to gain access to a wide range of information without having to come into one of our Administration buildings.
“I would encourage residents to provide Council staff with feedback on the new look and style as the website is going to continue to grow and evolve over time.”
The new site has been locally designed and features a number of new headers and information pages.
Some of the most notable changes include the creation of a ‘My Property’ page, encompassing all personal property information and the ‘My Council’ section which provides documents relating to all of Council’s latest happenings including current public exhibitions, development application updates and spaces to comment.
