Shoalhaven City Council is reminding Shoalhaven Heads residents there is one week left to have your say on the future of the Shoalhaven Heads Tennis Court Facility.
The tennis court has been out of play since 2019 and Council are seeking creative ideas on the future of the space through a survey that has been made available in hard copy in the community and online since 15 May.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging residents to bring their great ideas forward in a survey online or in print in the local community.
“There have been so many great suggestions for the future use of these facilities from multi-purpose courts and community gardens to an open space or a half-basketball court, this is your opportunity to have your say,” Cl Findley
“At Council’s Ordinary Meeting in October 2018 Council resolved to decommission the two courts and consult the community on their future use.
“The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and can be completed online or hard copies were letterboxed drop to Shoalhaven Heads residents. However, if you have miss placed or need another one they are also available the Shoalhaven Heads Post office or Council’s Nowra Administration Building.
