Shoalhaven Family Day Care seeking home based Educators
August 11, 2011
Shoalhaven Family Day Care is currently recruiting a new batch of Educators to provide quality home based childcare options throughout the area.
Educators work in partnership with local families to provide a unique caring environment for children in care.
Opening their homes to local children, Educators are self employed, however receive extensive training and support from Shoalhaven Family Day Care staff.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Paul Green said Educators play a vital role in the local community through the provision of high quality childcare.
“Educators come from many different backgrounds and help supply a vital service to Shoalhaven families,” said Clr Green.
“Before selection for training, each potential Educator must undertake a rigorous recruitment process to ensure they are suitable for the role.
“While Educators are effectively self employed, Shoalhaven Family Day Care staff provides valuable training and overviews the role of the educator, offering ongoing support throughout the whole process.”
“By opening their doors to local children and providing a valuable service to the community Educators are taking a lot of pressure off local families.”
“I would encourage any residents with a desire to build a successful home based childcare service to consider becoming an Educator.”
