Filming and photography in the Shoalhaven

In the Shoalhaven, a permit is required for filming and photography on land that is owned or managed by Council.

Please ensure you have read the Filming and Photography Policy prior to submitting your application. The policy includes important information such as use of drones in the region, times when filming is allowed and other special requirements.

If you are filming a Council-approved event you do not need to apply for a separate filming and photography permit as this will have already been assessed as part of your event application.

Complete the form below to apply for your permit

Please note: The events team require at least 7 to 14 business days to process your application, and the form does not guarantee the booking or location availability.

Fees for filming and photography will be charged based on the most up to date schedule of fees and charges. Review fees here.
