The Bureau of Meteorology have advised that areas of heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding are occurring about coastal parts of the South Coast, Illawarra, Metropolitan and southern Hunter. Minor flood warnings are in place for the Shoalhaven River and St Georges Basin.

Motorists are reminded to NEVER drive through floodwater, always follow the directions of emergency services and take extreme care as conditions are changing quickly.
Residents are advised to stay out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas. Rock fishers should avoid coastal rock platforms exposed to the ocean and boaters should consider changing or delaying their voyage. Beach water quality is likely to be poor at all locations.
Don't swim in flood water
Never ride or walk-through floodwater and stay clear of overflowing stormwater drains and outlets.
Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous. Water is often fast flowing and may be polluted with waste water, hidden obstacles and debris under the surface.
Lake and River Entrance Openings
Shoalhaven Heads Entrance, Lake Conjola, Burrill Lake are all open. Swan Lake is closed however water levels are below the trigger level. Lake Tabourie is closed due to recent high tides.

Bamarang Dam – 0.921m Below Top Water Level (TWL)
Danjera Dam – 24mm above TWL
Porters Creek Dam – 145mm above TWL
Tallowa Dam (Water NSW owned) – 1.31 metres above TWL
Cambewarra Dam – 0.89 metres above TWL
Kerbside waste collection vehicles have been unable to service some areas due to road closures caused by flooding. Missed bin collection services will return once roads are accessible again.
