The Ulladulla Lighthouse Group supported by Shoalhaven City Council is inviting residents to have their say on the draft Warden Head Lighthouse Master Plan.

The community-led plan for the Warden Head Lighthouse has involved several stakeholders including key partners, Crown Lands who own and manage the site.

Council is proudly supporting and collaborating with the local Ulladulla Lighthouse Group in preparing a community-led Master Plan for the Warden Head lighthouse and lookout area.

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is pleased with the progress achieved by the various stakeholders involved in the community-led project.

“This draft Master Plan aims to build on the existing character of the lighthouse and improve the recreational experience for visitors to the site.

“Community input is important at this stage in the process and will provided to the Crown Lands department who are responsible for the ongoing management of this site and the delivery of improvements at this location,” said Clr Findley.

“Once the Master Plan is adopted, a series of prioritised, actionable items will be finalised to upgrade the area,” Clr Findley said.

Locale Consulting have been engaged by the Ulladulla Lighthouse Group to lead the community consultation and development of the Master Plan.

Visit Council’s Get Involved page to view the Warden Head Lighthouse Master Plan Report and provide your feedback by Monday 15 March 2021.
