Twelve inductees into Shoalhaven Hall of Sporting Fame were announced at an official ceremony at Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on Friday, November 28. Shoalhaven City Council will join the Nowra Cricket Club and Shoalhaven District Cricket Association in playing host to the DNSW Home Ground Cricket Tour on Tuesday 6 January 2015. Shoalhaven City Council has been successful in its in-house bid for the tender of the Nowra CBD Cleaning and Maintenance works. Tenders for the CBD maintenance and cleaning were called in September as part of the organisational transformation process currently being undertaken by Council. Shoalhaven City Council has been selected to host the Ocean and Earth Southern Cross SUP Festival in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club is undertaking final preparations with the set to again host the 2015 Stramit NSW Country Surf Life Saving Championships from 16 January 2015. Shoalhaven City Council played host to delegates from the Fuyang City Council of China earlier this week with the group taking the opportunity to tour a number of local businesses and organisations while in the area.
