Shoalhaven City Council will be commencing vegetation clearing along Gerroa Road in February 2014.The clearing of vegetation will be followed by road works to improve shoulders, as separate works.The $820,000 project will see the clearing of vegetation within the road reserve, the construction of wider shoulders and reline-marking with raised ‘rumble’ pavement markings.Director of Assets and Works, Ben Stewart said that as part of the works, Council will be clearing trees and removing vegetation...

Shoalhaven City Council is advising the community of an overflow of sewage into the the stormwater system at Marriott Park.    The overflow was caused by a blockage in the pipe system upstream of the park.   The blockage has been cleared and Council’s Environmental staff are currently undertaking water quality tests.   Shoalhaven Water staff will be using tankers to pump out the overflow today.   Warning signs have been placed around the pond reminding loca...
