Shoalhaven City Council’s Development Committee will receive a report on the draft Nowra CBD Masterplan this Monday 18 July.
Developed through an extensive workshopping process, the draft Masterplan will guide strategies to revitalise the CBD over the next 25 years.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Paul Green said that Council had received over 70 submissions during the public exhibition of the Masterplan earlier this year saying he welcomed the public’s interest in this extremely important document.
“I would like to thank all those that took the time to have a say on the future of the Nowra CBD,” said Clr Green.
“The Nowra CBD Masterplan aims to identify urban design strategies and planning measures to help reinvigorate the town centre and riverfront areas as well as encouraging future development in the City.
“It is very encouraging to see so many residents taking the time to make a submission and put forward their views on the strategies that will guide the CBD into the future.”
The report going before Council’s Development Committee this Monday 18 July will also cover the outcomes of a workshop held on the future of the Riverfront precinct and Nowra Pool.
