Pedestrian Traffic Signals – Princes Highway & Junction Street, Nowra

CIVX Pty Ltd on behalf of Shoalhaven City Council will be constructing a set of Pedestrian Traffic Signals to improve pedestrian safety at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Junction Street, Nowra.

Works are scheduled to commence in late July 2018 and are expected to take approximately three months.

The works have been identified as part of the Active Transport Program with funding provided by the NSW Government, Shoalhaven City Council and The Stockland’s Trust Pty Ltd.

The cost of works is estimated to be $900,000.00 and includes provision for a signalised pedestrian crossing to the existing intersection along with the associated drainage, adjustments to the footpaths, road pavement works including line marking and the connection of essential services.

Local traffic controls will be in place during construction with motorists asked to exercise caution and follow the traffic directions during this time.  Shoalhaven City Council apologies for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience during this time.  Updates will be available via the Shoalhaven City Council website.
