West Cambewarra Cemetery was established at the bottom of the Good Dog Creek catchment in 1874, although there are a number of unknown burials in the cemetery that may have occurred earlier. Due to its position in the landscape, some sections of the cemetery are subject to periodic flooding during significant weather events.

The cemetery is divided into denominational portions for several religions including Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Islam and Presbyterian. There is also a 'General' portion for those of other faiths.

A part of an unallocated area in the Cemetery has also been set aside for natural burials.

Open from 7am to 7pm
