Old Burrier Fire Trail - Yalwal - Unsealed Pavement Repair

A portion of the Old Burrier Fire trail was damaged during the severe weather events in 2022. Council has obtained Natural Disaster Relief funding to undertake maintenance grading and importation of gravel to ensure the fire trail is trafficable.

About the works

06/04/2023 - Gravel resheeting of the unsealed pavement was completed on 05/04/2023

29/03/2023 - Repair works to the Council owned section of Old Burrier Fire Trail are currently underway

27/03/2023 - Old Burrier Fire Trail (Council maintained section) repairs commencing by 31/03/2023

08/03/2023 - Council has received partial funding approval to repair the damaged section of Old Burrier fire trail. Council will be undertaking additional works to prevent further deterioration of the trail.
