Irvines Road - Berry Mountain - Pavement Repair

08/09/2023 - The pavement has been prepared and is scheduled for sealing on Tuesday 12 September 2023.

14/08/2023 - Works to repair the damaged sections of road have commenced and are expected to be completed in approximately 3 weeks.

28/07/2023 - Works to repair the damaged sections of road have been approved by TfNSW and are scheduled to commence mid August 2023.

16/05/2023 - Works to repair the damaged sections of road have been approved by Transport NSW with Council contribution and will be undertaken by Council's Roads Unit in the coming weeks.

06/04/2023 - A quotation for ground investigations and pavement designs has been issued for the sealed section of Irvines Road. Once complete, pavement designs will be submitted to Transport NSW for scope of work and funding approval.

23/03/2023 - A quotation for ground investigations and pavement designs will be issued in April 2023 prior to submitting to Transport NSW for scope of work and funding approval.

02/02/2023 - Sealed section - A Geotechnical Engineer will be engaged in February 2023 to carry out pavement investigation works. 

22/12/2022 - Sealed Pavement - A Northern District Pavement Repair Program, including sections of Irvines Road, is expected to be put to tender in March 2023 following geotechnical investigations. In the interim please drive slowly with caution.

18/12/2022 - Unsealed pavement and table drain restoration works have been completed.

15/09/2022 - Clearing vegetation along the corridor, including verge and table drains. Approx. 300 tonne of clay-based millings to fill the drains. Place 2160 tonne of imported pavement material where gravel is removed, shape, crown and compact.
