• 29/02/2024 - Tender awarded in December 2023 to Roadworx Pty Ltd.

• 15/11/2023 - Tender is expected to be awarded in December 2023 with works commencing in early 2024.

• 14/09/2023 - Project scope and estimate have been updated to reflect TfNSW updated requirements. Works are being incorporated into a large contract addressing pavement remediation for five main roads in the Southern District. Tenders are expected to be advertised by the end of September with works to commence early in the new year, dependent on Council’s consideration and contractor availability.

• 27/07/2023 - Project scope and estimate have been updated to reflect TfNSW requirements. Works are being incorporated into a large contract addressing pavement remediation for five main roads in the Southern District. Tenders are expected to be advertised by the end of July with works to commence later this year, dependent on Council’s consideration and contractor availability.

• 24/05/2023 - Ground investigations and pavement designs have been completed and submitted to TfNSW. Repair works are pending TfNSW approval.

• 12/04/2023 - Council have undertaken interim works whilst awaiting TfNSW approval.

• 11/04/2023 - Ground investigations and pavement designs have been completed and submitted to TfNSW. Repair works are pending TfNSW approval. Council anticipates TfNSW to respond by June 2023 at which time tenders for construction can be called in August 2023. Included in this tender will be works associated with damages recorded on other roads in Fishermans Paradise including:

- Alma Ave

- Anglers Rd

- Wattle St

- Cornfield Pde

• 24/03/2023 - Ground investigations are underway. Pavement designs will be submitted to TfNSW for approval in April 2023. Interim works by the District to address the pavement conditions will be carried out in April

• 02/02/2023 - Field work for sampling and testing of the pavement is currently being carried out.19/01/2023 - Sampling and testing will be carried out late January / early February 2023 to inform the repair method.

• 19/01/2023 - A geotechnical consultant has been engaged to commence sampling and testing works to inform the repair method. Field work will be carried out late Jan/early Feb. Following geotechnical investigations and approval of the scope of work by transport, works will be Tendered for construction. In the interim please drive slowly with caution.

• 21/22/2022 - Tender expected in February  2023 following sampling and testing investigations.

• 21/11/2022 - A Southern District Pavement Repair Program, including sections of Fishermans Paradise Road, is expected to be put to tender in February 2023 following geotechnical investigations. In the interim please drive slowly with caution.

• 01/11/2022 - A tender to deliver a Southern District Pavement Repair Program, including sections of Fishermans Paradise Road is expected to be called in December 2022. Road rehabilitation works are expected to commence along sections of Fishermans Paradise Road and Alma Road in the new year.
