Bryces Road - Far Meadow - Pavement Repair

The Shoalhaven was declared a Natural Disaster Area 5 March 2022 after an East Coast Low and subsequent rain events. This had a major impact on our communities, causing rapid deterioration to pavements and roads. Bryces Road, Far Meadow, was impacted by these rain events resulting in planned repair works.

28/02/2024 - The last update for this project is still current. Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

07/12/2023 - The scope of works for the pavement repair of Bryces Road has been submitted to Transport NSW for funding approval.

2023 Works history

08/09/2023 - Pavement repairs are to be scoped prior to submitting to Transport NSW for funding approval.

06/04/2023 - A quotation for ground investigations and pavement designs has been issued. Once complete, pavement designs will be submitted to Transport NSW for scope of work and funding approval.

23/03/2023 - A quotation for ground investigations and pavement designs will be issued in April 2023 prior to submitting to Transport NSW for scope of work and funding approval.

02/03/2023 - A Geotechnical Engineer is being engaged to carry out pavement investigation works. Council is engaging geotechnical engineers to undertake pavement investigations to provide advice on repair works, prior to Tendering.
