Bendalong Road - Bendalong - Pavement Repair

2/4/2024 - Announcement: Repair works to start. Contractor Roadworx has scheduled necessary pavement repair works to start Monday 15 April 2024. Works will be carried out under traffic control; minor delays may be experienced. Repair works are expected to take 4 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

05/03/2024 - Pavement repair works are scheduled by the contractor to commence mid-April 2024. Works are expected to take 4 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

29/02/2024 - Tender awarded in December 2023 to Roadworx Pty Ltd.

16/02/2024 - Road works on Bendalong Road are expected to commence in April 2024.

• 15/11/2023 - Tender is expected to be awarded in December 2023 with works commencing in early 2024.
  
  
• 27/07/2023 - Project scope and estimate have been updated to reflect TfNSW requirements. Works are being incorporated into a large contract addressing pavement remediation for five main roads in the Southern District. Tenders are expected to be advertised by the end of July with works to commence later this year, dependent on Council’s consideration and contractor availability.
  
  
• 24/05/2023 - Ground investigations and pavement designs have been completed and submitted to TfNSW. Repair works are pending TfNSW approval.
  
  
• 06/04/2023 Ground investigations and pavement designs have been completed and submitted to TfNSW. Repair works are pending TfNSW approval.
  
  
• 24/03/2023 - Ground investigations are underway. Pavement designs will be submitted to TfNSW for approval in April 2023.
  
  
• 15/03/2023 - Testing of the pavement material is currently being carried out to inform the pavement design and repair method. It is expected that pavement designs will be completed at the end of March. Following the geotechnical investigations the pavement design and scope of works requires approval by TfNSW. Following approval by TfNSW, works will be tendered for construction.

• 2/02/2023 - Field work for sampling and testing of the pavement is currently being carried out
  
  
• 19/01/2023 - A geotechnical consultant has been engaged to commence sampling and testing works to inform the repair method. Field work will be carried out late Jan/early Feb. Following geotechnical investigations and approval of the scope of work by transport, works will be Tendered for construction. In the interim please drive slowly with caution.

• 21/12/2022 - Tender is expected in February 2023 following sampling and testing investigations.

• 14/12/2022 - A Southern District Pavement Repair Program, including sections of Inyadda Drive, is expected to be put to tender in February 2023 following geotechnical investigations. In the interim please drive slowly with caution.
  
  
• 13/12/2022 - Extensive pothole repair works commenced on 14th December and will continue for several days. Tenders for long term reconstruction planned for March 2023.
  
  
• 01/11/2022 - A tender to deliver a Southern District Pavement Repair Program, including Bendalong Road is expected to be called in December 2022. Road rehabilitation works will be completed along several sections of Bendalong Road early next year. In the interim please drive slowly with caution.
