08/09/2023 - Following the repair of the landslip on Abernethys Road, gravel resheeting works will begin to take place. It is expected these works will commence mid October 2023.
20/04/2023 - Works for the construction of the new stormwater drainage crossing along Abernethys Road have been completed. Spot gravel resheeting works up to the landslip have also now been completed. Further gravel resheeting works will follow the completion of the landslip works later in the year.
30/3/2023 - Construction of the culvert drainage improvements have been completed by Lynch Civil. Spot gravel re-sheet is on track to commence 17 April 2023.
30/03/2023 - Works have commenced for the construction of the new stormwater drainage crossings along Abernethys Road. The works involve the installation of new stormwater culverts at 3 locations. Spot gravel re sheeting works commence 17/4/23 weather permitting for 4 days. Stop slow traffic control will be in place for these works. Minor delays may occur.

23/02/2023 - Works on Abernathys Lane are ongoing. Culvert at middle site has been placed and the top and bottom sites have been prepared for excavation and installation of culvert crossings.
02/02/2023 - Council will be undertaking the construction of the new stormwater drainage crossings along Abernethy’s Road. The works will involve demolition of existing materials and the placement of new adequate drainage and pavement materials. Works are expected to commence early/mid February.
Gravel resheeting works will be undertaken following the construction of the stormwater drainage work.
23/1/23 - Drainage Culvert construction start date - 24th January 2023
10/1/23 - Council will be undertaking the construction of the new stormwater drainage crossings along Abernethy’s Road. The works will involve demolition of existing materials and the placement of new adequate drainage and pavement materials.
