The latest

The contractor engaged in the Ulladulla Harbour dredge and pontoon works vacated the site on Tuesday, 12 July, 2022. Council is now pursuing medium-term recommencement of works including dredge and pontoon using an alternate contractor. The works remain an important project for Council to deliver in 2023/2024.

About the project

Three major projects are planned for the southern side of the Ulladulla Harbour Precinct, including:

  1. Harbour Berthing Facility
  2. Elevated Boardwalk
  3. Harbourside Carpark

Stage 1: Ulladulla Harbour Berthing Facility

The new harbour berthing facility which will include the construction of new pontoons to allow for safe and improved passageway and berthing of vessels in the harbour.

Stage 2: Ulladulla Elevated Boardwalk

Following completion of the berthing facility, construction works will begin on the elevated boardwalk. The boardwalk will create a new elevated public space that establishes visual connectivity between the commercial centre and Ulladulla Harbour. This will assist in stimulating commercial activity by encouraging locals and visitors to enjoy the Harbour outlook from the adjoining cafes, restaurants and dedicated viewing points.

Stage 3: Ulladulla Harbourside Carpark

Following completion of the elevated boardwalk, the harbourside carpark will be reconstructed. The improved carpark will better cater for residents, visitors and boating activity.
